The buzz sound itself is made from a heavily-edited version of an alarm from half-life 2, I wanted it to sound like it’s actually coming from the gun, and it felt the most fitting. I find this is very helpful when using scopes since you can’t see the counter, and the vanilla click sound can be hard to hear over intense combat. This mod adds a little buzz sound to the gauss rifle, shotgun, and pistol (which all use the same sound) when they’re fully charged so you know when to fire without having to keep an eye on the counter or charge your shots longer than you need to just to make sure you get the full damage. Surprised that this hadn’t been done yet, I took it upon myself to make it.
